The Brazilian Keratin treatment is a revolutionary treatment for all kinds of hair!

This intense treatment will eliminate up to 95 percent of curl and frizz without harsh chemicals; softening, smoothing and straightening even the coarsest hair types.

What happens during a Brazilian Keratin Treatment?
During a treatment the hair is first washed, with a clarifying shampoo, to open up the cuticles. Then the treatment is applied, which contains the Keratin. Then heat is applied through straightening irons. The heat seals the Keratin into the hair and so removes the frizz.

What does hair look like after it has been treated?
The Keratin Treatment makes the hair look shiny and healthier. Your hair will also feel softer. Keratin provides a lot of nutrients for the hair; hence it looks so good afterwards.

How long does it last?
The Keratin Treatment lasts between three to five months. Keartin Straightening is not permanent and it eventually washes out. The more the hair is washed, the quicker the keratin will be washed out. If hair is washed once a week it may last 4 months, if washed 3 or 4 times a week then it may last less. For this reason three months is the most common average for the length of a keratin treatment.

Does it guarantee a straight result?
No, you may still have a wave but the hair is much more manageable and the amount of time required to style hair will be reduced dramatically. 

Can this Treatment be done on any type of hair?
Yes, this treatment can be done on coloured, highlighted, relaxed, bleached, permed or virgin hair.

When is the best time to colour my hair?
It is best to colour hair just before the treatment or to wait two weeks after the treatment.

Can the treatment be done on children?
Yes absolutely! It is extremely safe, however we do like kids to be at least 12 years old.

What if I don’t like having straight hair or this treatment?
GKT can be washed out; it is not permanent like other chemical straighteners.

Can I wash my hair after the treatment?
No, only wash your hair after 3 days.
